1. Introduction

Welcome to You Talk We Listen ("we," "us," or "our"). These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of our services and bookings made through our platform hosted on GoDaddy (https://www.youtalkanalisten.com).

By booking a session, purchasing a package, or using our services, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree to these Terms, please do not book a session.

2. Nature of Services (Disclaimer)

Please read this section carefully. The services provided by You Talk We Listen are for supportive listening purposes only.

• Not Medical or Mental Health Advice: Our services do not constitute medical advice, psychotherapy, counseling, or mental health treatment. We do not diagnose, treat, or cure any mental or physical condition.
• No Doctor-Patient Relationship: Use of our services does not create a doctor-patient or therapist-client relationship.
• Crisis Situations: If you are in distress, feeling suicidal, or facing a medical emergency, please contact your local emergency services (such as 911 in the US) or a certified crisis hotline immediately. We are not equipped to handle emergency crisis situations.

3. Booking and Payments

• Platform:  We use  GoDaddy  to facilitate scheduling, billing, and client management. By using our service, you also acknowledge that you are subject to GoDaddy's technical requirements.
• Fees:   All fees are listed on our booking page. Prices are subject to change, but you will always be charged the price listed at the time of your booking.
• Payment Terms: Payment is required n full upon booking.
• Currency:  All transactions are processed in USD.

4. Cancellation, Rescheduling, and Refunds

We value your time and ours. Our policy regarding changes to appointments is as follows:

• Rescheduling:  You may reschedule a session up to 24 hours before the start time using the link provided in your confirmation email.
• Cancellations:  Cancellations made with less than 24 hours' notice will forfeit the session and be charged a 50% fee.
• No-Shows:  If you do not appear for your session within 10 minutes of the start time, it will be considered a "No-Show" and the session will be forfeited without refund.

5. Client Responsibility and Code of Conduct

• You agree to be on time and present for your sessions in a quiet environment free from distractions.
• We maintain a zero-tolerance policy for harassment. We reserve the right to      terminate any session or client relationship immediately, without refund, if the client exhibits abusive, threatening, sexual, or inappropriate behavior.

6. Confidentiality

We respect your privacy. We will not disclose any information you share during a session to third parties, except where required by law (e.g., if there is an imminent threat of harm to yourself or others, or in cases of child/elder abuse).

Note: While we strive for confidentiality, communications via the internet (Zoom, email, etc.) can never be guaranteed to be 100% secure.

7. Intellectual Property

Any materials, worksheets, recordings, or content provided to you during the course of our services remain the intellectual property of You Talk We Listen. You may not reproduce, distribute, or sell these materials without our written permission.

8. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, You Talk We Listen shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages resulting from the use or inability to use our services. Our total liability for any claim arising out of these Terms shall not exceed the total amount paid by you to us in the one session preceding the claim.

9. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Pittsburgh, PA, USA. Any disputes arising under these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts located in [Insert Your Pittsburgh/PA].
